COMPANY: The Company is an aviation software company (located at Station Amsterdam Arena) that provides asset management, maintenance planning, and administration software to airlines and aircraft lessors. They have about 150 employees with 20+ nationalities.

Job Description:
Company provides lease management, records management, engine fleet planning and audit and inspection software as well as technical and back office services for aircraft and engine operators, lessors and MROs. With a strong customer focus, They delivers reliable and secure services to its clients using latest technologies and state of the art infrastructure.
We are looking for experienced Product Owners that would have a key role in the development of The Company’s digital platform for the aviation industry.The successful candidates will analyze various processes at airlines, aviation lessors and MROs, identifying areas of improvement, working on innovative solutions with the technical team, specifying functional requirements and presenting them to the development team. Within our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) setup, the Product Owner acts as the sole source of requirements and business knowledge to the (SCRUM) development team, manages releases, coordinates sprints and performs final sign-off on the functionality delivered. To be successful in this role, the Product Owner should be able to collaborate with cross-functional and different feature teams in order to effectively deliver a fitting functionality to our platform.
Responsibilities:
Interacting with customers to document their business processes, patterns of usage of software tools, documenting market problems and identifying opportunities for added- value automation
Supporting product managers to validate roadmap features by eliciting requirements with customers
Specifying features with validated requirements
Breaking down features into stories in a format which is clear, unambiguous and well understandable to software development team
Participating in refinement sessions to ensure the technical team understands well the scope of delivery for each requirement
Assisting the development team as reliable source of truth for the product
Check and sign off developed software features, assuring quality gates are applied per the Definition of Done
Must have skill set:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant domain of study
- At least 3 years of experience as a SCRUM Product Owner, with proven capability of producing software functional requirements
- Minimum 2 years Development Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Visio
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Nice to have:
- Experience in the aviation industry, particularly aircraft leasing and technical records management
- Experience with scaled agile software development (SAFe)
- Experience with road mapping software
- Experience with requirements management tools (Azure DevOps)
- Experience with business process analysis methodologies (IDEF0 or similar)
Certifications
- CSPO or PSPO
